JW Summer Solstice Update from Jersey Wahoos

As you all probably know, our meet is quite large. We have had to turn down a number of teams from the meet and it is still too big.

We are going to have to make some cuts to events. Especially in the morning sessions. We are working that out now and will have the final decisions out in the next few days.

For the 13-14 & SR morning sessions, we are going to cut the senior relays from the morning sessions and we will have to limit the number of heats for distance events. There will also be other events with limited heats that are yet to be determined.

For the 12/under sessions - We may have to limit some events, we are still working on this.

The number of swimmers cut from an event will determined by the number of scratches. In past years when we have had to limit events, many of the swimmers initially scheduled to be cut from an event have gotten to swim due to scratches at the meet (except in the distance events)
