Registration Information for 2013-2014
The 2013-2014 will begin on Monday, August 26th for the Elite Group; on Tuesday, September 3rd for the Jr Elite Group; and on Monday, September 9th for all other practice groups. The season runs for most groups until Memorial Day Weekend, 2014.
Registration will open for returning team members in good standing beginning Monday, July 8th and remain open exclusively for them through Tuesday, July 23rd.
Registration for new team members who have attended one of our tryout events and have received a group placement will open on Thursday, July 25th.
Caps are placed on each group to ensure a safe and manageable working and learning environment for swimmers and coaches. Once the cap on the group is reached a waiting list is created for additionally interested swimmers.
NEW SWIMMER GROUP PLACEMENT TRYOUTS - Tryouts are held for the purpose of placing swimmers in a practice group or swim lesson level. The tryouts are held at our home pool at GCIT (1360 Tanyard Road; Sewell, NJ 08080) on select days. Swimmers should come prepared to get into the water for about 30-45 minutes. Parents will have the opportunity to ask questions during the tryouts. No pre-registration is necessary, just show up ready to get into the pool!

Monday, July 29th: 5pm
Monday, August 5th: 6pm
Tuesday, September 3rd: 6pm (tentative...will be canceled if team is filled)

MINI GROUP REQUIREMENTS: The minimum ability requirements for the Mini group have changed to fall in line with our Level 4 swim lesson objectives. In order to be recommended for the Mini group a swimmer must display the ability to do the following:
1) Proper butterfly kick (with or without a kickboard) for 15 yards
2) Proper butterfly kick without a kickboard (arms at side) using the body dolphin motion
3) Butterfly swim for 15 yards
4) Breaststroke kick (with or without a kickboard) for 15 yards
5) Breaststroke swim for 15 yards
If a swimmer is not at the level above they will be recommended for swim lessons and recommended to move into the Mini group once they have demonstrated mastery of the above tasks on a consistent basis.
FALL HIGH SCHOOL WARM-UP: Swimmers who are looking to get ready for the high school season that will practice with their high school teams when that season begin have a group just for them! Our high school warm-up group will open for registration on July 9th. The group trains on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8-9:30 pm. Practices start on Monday, September 9th. The final practice will be on Thursday, November 14th. NO TRYOUT IS NECESSARY. You can register for the group online just as for our other practice groups.
